Action Against Hunger
The proposed 6-month covid-19 response will contribute to the reduction of human to human transmission of the virus and improve the prevention measures in the target communities. The expected project results are 1) Health facilities are supported to provide infection prevention and control measures and ensure continuity of basic healthcare services, 2) The county health authority capacity is strengthened in timely and rapid surveillance in tracing, detection and isolation of suspected covid-19 cases, and 3) The target communities have access to lifesaving information to protect themselves from the virus and reduce the socioeconomic impact of the outbreak. Action Against Hunger will work with local partners (CHI and GWEI), the county health authorities, the community structures and the target beneficiaries and communities in the implementation of the project activities.
