Japanese supplementary budget JFY2014 Un Women implement "Women Peace and Security and Humanitarian Action Programme in CAR " for one year. The programme aims to implement a series of catalytic interventions to generate longer-term commitment by state authorities and sustainable programmes on gender equality and women’s empowerment in post-conflict Central African Republic (CAR) and strengthen women’s participation in all peace and security decision-making forums. This programme intends to advance the protection of women and girls and promote women’s participation in key areas of peace and security, including conflict prevention and resolution, protection, justice and security sector reform, transitional justice, elections and national dialogue and reconciliation process. Activities in this programme will provide the necessary expertise and targeted activities to improve national authorities’ capacity to enhance women’s engagement in peace and security work. 3,000,000 Paid Contribution
